GET UNSTUCK: How to move forward when your path is unclear

When you start forming an idea of what you want to create, it’s very likely that your path will still be unclear.

Sometimes it's because the goal is too big and you’ve never done anything like it before. You have lots of unanswered questions.

Other times, you’re still unclear on the end goal itself. And this can be especially frustrating.

That’s okay.

As long as you have a general idea of the direction you want to go, you’re ready to start, even though you have no plan.

To get unstuck, ask yourself:

What is one step I can take in the next 24 hours that will help me go in this direction?

The next day ask yourself that question again, and again, until the path starts to form.

If you feel stuck, it's usually because your next step is too big, or because you worry about knowing all the steps ahead of time, for fear of moving in the wrong direction.

But with small action that you can execute on today, you'll gain both clarity and momentum, and then you can start creating more concrete plans.

So what action can you take today?
